Privacy Policy (English)

Last updated: 22 October 2026. This policy explains how Enzein Store Wholesale & Retail Trading Co. W.L.L. ("we") collects, uses and protects data in the Enzein app ("the App"). In case of conflict, the Arabic version prevails.

1. Who we are

The App is a business-to-business marketplace for mobile phone and accessory shops in Kuwait. Commercial Registration No. 553930. Address: Mangaf, Block 4, Street 13, Building 14, Mezzanine, Office 7, Ahmadi Governorate, Kuwait.

2. Data we collect

• Account: phone number and/or email used for one-time-code sign-in, and the invitation code if you enter one.
• Store: store name, governorate, area, market and service areas, map location, contact number, logo, and the trade-licence number, entity name and licence document if you request verification.
• Staff: names, phone numbers and permissions of staff added by the store owner, and a log of what they add or change.
• Listings and requests: devices and accessories, prices, photos, quantities, the IMEI of the listed device if you add it, and buy requests, sell requests, clearance sales and offers.
• Activity: sales recorded in the App, interests, ratings, favourites, blocked stores and reports.
• Usage statistics: views of each listing (shown to the listing's owner) and taps on in-app banners, recorded in our own database without any third-party analytics tool.
• Device: push-notification token and operating system (iOS or Android), only if you turn on notifications.
• Location: requested only to set your store location, with your permission; you can pin it manually instead. We never track your location or use it in the background.
• Camera and photos: only to take listing and logo photos and scan IMEI barcodes, with your permission. Photos are re-compressed before upload, which removes embedded location data.

We do not collect contacts, messages, audio, payment details or browsing history, we use no analytics, tracking, advertising or crash-reporting tools, and we do not read any permanent identifier of your device.

3. How we use data

To operate your account and verify sign-in; show your listings to other traders sorted by distance; send notifications according to your preferences; manage account activation, badges and verification; show listing views to their owner; review reports and prevent fraud; and provide support. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

4. What other traders see

Your store name, area, map location, contact number, listings, badges and ratings. Other traders see only the last 6 digits of an IMEI. They never see your sign-in phone or email, your sales history, or your staff details.

5. Service providers

Supabase (database, storage and sign-in), Google (Maps and Firebase notifications on Android), Apple (Maps and notifications on iPhone), Expo (notifications and app updates), Twilio (SMS verification codes) and Hostinger (email verification codes and website hosting). Some data may be stored outside Kuwait. We may disclose data when lawfully required by an authority.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is restricted by role. No method of protection is completely guaranteed.

7. Account deletion and retention

You can delete your account at any time in the App or by email request; see Delete account. We delete your personal data, store and staff details, listings, photos and notification tokens, and may keep limited records (such as account-activation, invoice and report records) as required by law or to resolve disputes. Deals another trader recorded with you stay with that trader (device name and store name at the time) without any link to your account, and we keep a one-way hash that does not reveal your phone or email, to prevent misuse of promotional benefits.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct or request deletion of your data, turn off non-essential notifications, and withdraw location or camera permission in your device settings.

9. Age

The App is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.

10. Changes and contact
